I don't know how experienced you are with CAD software, but a pencil and paper might be easier and more descriptive than anything learned on new software.

While putting my daughter to bed the oddest thought popped into my head, an idea for a RevoMaze stand design. Yes, I know, an odd time for an idea...

I’m not all that good with CAD drawing and don’t have a lot of time to try and start learning so I’m posting a picture that inspired my idea. My thought was a stand that would hold all five in series 1 with the Gold at the top.

Any one who is good with CAD and wants to take this idea and run with it, feel free to go nuts. :P

I like it!!! And two bits of metal, or plastic, with 3 bolts, cheap as to manufacture, and to ship.

totally digging this. Can it be modular? Some of us have 5 puzzles, some of us will have 10 or 11 if we win the tournament.

I’m sure you could make it modular to an extent.

Here is a side view of what I was thinking it would look like.
Sorry I am subjecting you to my 2D CAD skills

I’m sure you have an idea of what the circles represent  , the top triangle would be the main part and you could theoretically add as many bottom modular sections as you like. The only thing is that the base would need to get longer and longer the more you add.

Why would the base actually be needed?

What if the main section had feet with a connector point, and the modular additions had connect at top and the same feet at bottom? More like a step ladder type design...

That would work but at some point you would need to secure the bottom two ends to each other or you may risk them sliding out in opposite directions.

If the top portion was a solid piece of metal or wood, wouldn't this be relatively unlikely provided that the material connecting the portions was sturdy? I use the stepladder example more as a discussion of the way the legs would work, where I would consider the base to be solid material, so it wouldn't fold.
