Pie Puzzle

Similar to the last one, this one is fruit themed.
This is smaller and should be easier to work out.
First, find the sequence (easy part here), then apply it to the puzzle to find your path through the maze.
You don't need a high-res version for this one - everyone can try straight from the link!

Major clue to this puzzle - count the pictures. How many apples are there? How many pears? How many bananas?
What is the first number you think of when reading the clue?
How could you apply that to the pictures?

I didn't get it at first. Reread this clue...
