Plastic Revomazes

Just wondering. The new plastic versions that are being created. Will the solvers of these versions be eligable to compete in the tournament without buying a metal puzzle or is this set just getting the prize code for the online stuff? It might be an opportunity to fill up some leader board positionsfor people that might not otherwise have the funds.
