You're eligible for the competition when you buy any one of the series 1 metal extreme puzzles, although many do not have open spots (only silver and gold). You don't need to have all 5 to play, but it's an advantage...you'd be going up against some crazy people. You don't have to be interested in the competition to order a series 1 puzzle. If you pre-ordered your gold, then you'll receive your gold along with everyone else (check the gold page for more details). The collectors edition set will only be shipped after the competition because you can order it "open". No worries for you.

^as for the competition, does it take place in england, cause im in florida. also, anyone who "buys" and extreme puzzle can be eligible for the competition, whether or not they submitted any of the maps yet even? or registered their product? cause i mean considering gold will be an approximate 300 hours to solve, im guessing it will be a while before the competition takes place. as for the competition prize, i heard that in the finals, there is supposedly a purple revomaze, is this true? if so, how do i get it if im not in the finals in the competition? or is it only for competition use only and not even for retail or online sale? and lastly, if someone does get into the finals, do they keep the purple revomaze. im sorry about the million questions, but i am so hooked i jus wanna kno everytin about it

There will be competitions in London and Las Vegas. There are limited number of positions in each competition, most of which are filled already. These spots have been and are filled as people register their solved puzzles. There are also extra spots which serve as waiting lists of sorts in the case that people won't make it to the competitions. See the leaderboards off of the main page. There will be 6 competitions. One for each of the 5 main puzzles (Blue, Green, Bronze, Silver, Gold). The winners from each of these will go to the finals which is the new Purple puzzle. The maps contained in the 5 puzzles are a fast route to the finals. Whomever is the first to collect all 5 maps and submit the solution to them will get a spot in the Purple competition without having to compete in the others.

so it was worth me getting the blue extreme instead of the obsession tht i got? cause i bought the obsession thinking i would never be able to solve the extreme. this was before i realized blue is same as blue and green was same as green.

Not really, all blue slots are full. If you're interested in the competition, then solving the silver or gold are your best options. Check the opening orders and leader boards for a better idea.

But your going to need the parts of the series code in the blue and green extremes to even have a chance at solving the series code and entering into the competition in the first place.

For me it's not worth it unless I get into the finals then. Why strive for silver when you can go for the gold!

So I think I have the 16 digit series code. I may be wrong but I stumbled accidentally upon 16 numbers with the calculator that I got with my revomaze.
