We could put a slot in the front of the base (so you have the puzzle displayed and the base behind with the coin) or a slot on top of the base





Once I have some more details I will let you know

I really like the look of it with the coin on the front of the base.

(Having it on top, you can then stand the puzzle and put all 5 together which may look cool - or you could put them side by side and have an extra end base to complete the lineup !)

OK now someone needs to sell me a special edition so i can have a coin slot!!!!

i like the dark wood of the #D rendering best. is the one you have there wood or is it fake wood printed by a 3D printer? i thought you were saying it was printed.

is the final product going to be real wood?

I love the addition of the magnets.

Will the coin not fit on the side of the lid? in the coin case?

The boxes were discussed at MPP2 with Chris and unless he's changed his mind then the boxes are likely to black with a silver "R" on the top. They will be real wood. Pretty much as in this picture (not the best photo in the world, but you get the idea).


The magnets are strong enough that if you pick the case up by just the lid, it can support the weight of the bottom while holding an extreme revo. The box has a nice vertical edge at the front which you can prop the coin up against
