All these mushroom people have me conflicted. Do I spend more time playing Mario Galaxy 2 or do I bang my head against the Canyon (hoping that I can get across a second time) and try to open my Silver!!!!!!!!

no one cares if you beat MG2. and if they do, they wont care in 6-12 months. we however love you (if you open your silver). ur part of the revofamily now brother.

Well, I think there were only 3 Mushrooms from the early games that I remember and they're already up here so I would say, yes, it counts because there aren't others to choose from, although it's not a Mushroom. I can't ever remember finding the tanooki suit in mario3 - only the leaf!
