Hi,

Gold is soft? Well, yes and no, it is depend of the metal which you take to compare and I am pretty sure, that aluminum is more soft. But even when, you dont have to take 24k. Regular coins which were in use long time ago were out of 22k (917) and this was not a problem at all even many years of circulation. And we are talking about the sleeve which you can get now in brass. The Mini is so small, the higher weight of Gold doesnt matter if you want to carry it.

if you want to make a more valueable Mini, then brass is not a good solution because the metal become dowdy very easy and very fast - how about gold coating? And if you really want to make a nice value piece, take gold - I would be the first buyer right away.

Way too soft! Looking for exotic? How about tantalum lined (great for aqueous acids and most other organics - yep, geeky, I know).
A Revomaze made out of tantalum would be 6 times heavier than out of aluminium (Density of aluminium: 2.6989 g/cm3, Density of tantalum: 16.69 g/cm3).
I guess lifting a 3.6 metal cylinder could be a nice workout. ;)
 Not solid tantalum, just tantalum lined (basically tantalum oxide) over aluminum. Better properties against strong acids. :geek:

I just hate it when I drop my revo into a vat of acid...
(I kid...)

What’s worrisome is that you had to add (I kid) as if it’s been done by others...

Well must be all kinds of vats of acid making all those super villains and zombies and such right? So got to protect the Revo's...

It just has to be as big of an issue as Quicksand - you know, that other event I was totally expecting at some point in my adult life looking forward as a kid? Sigh... None yet... Still vigilant though

We are now selling 20 V3 Blue’s for people to try out. The first 20 will be ‘special edition’s’.

We would love to hear your feedback as the V3 has not been tested by a customer yet, the first 20 will have an opportunity to try out the new core design before the whole range changes.

The Blue is the first puzzle to become a V3. At Christmas this year, all of the puzzles will have the new V3 design.

If you have any questions about V3, please contact our team support@revohq.co.uk

Hi,

why is this a ‘special edition’s’? What make it special when all puzzles will get the same core design?
