Newbie but silver...?!

Post by Wakizashi89 »

Hi guys!
I found Revomaze at thinkgeek.com...and my first thought was "i need one of these!"...but im only a student, so i can only order one....i just dont have enough money for more....
I wanted a real challenge, so i ordered the hardest one so far...the silver one....i ordered yesterday.... i just dont know if it was a good idea
what do you think? was it a bad idea? hmm... i will see...
uuh, and i have one question about the puzzle itself: is there a possibility to "reset" it? i hope you know what i mean  ...

Thanks! Waki

(PS: sorry for my really really bad english, i hope i am understandable  )

I'd suggest Bronze over Silver if one were to be jumping in at the deep end. Get the Blue and Green Obsession to start with as well to get a feel for the process.

Resetting the puzzle will probably be your biggest problem.

And yes, you can put it back together when you are done.

Silver first is stepping in a bit deep, but I think it is doable. In some ways, I think the Silver does an easier introduction of the elements in the Bronze, than the Bronze did. Its just that the Silver pushes the difficulty up quickly after that! Be sure to carefully read the Silver product page and search the website for clues. The clue for the Bronze might also be useful for you. Well, one of the two clues for the Bronze might be useful.

Hope that helps!

The problem is that the puzzle will reset itself. MANY times. :o

You want to open the puzzle, and it wants to reset. With a lot of patience you'll teach the puzzle not to reset, and then you'll be able to open it. :D

(Yes, these puzzles really do have minds of their own.)

It arrived! oh my god  ! its...great! i dont know why...but its great! im stuck of course! but its great  ! i am going in circles and it clicks and i have found my first trap and then a second later im beyond this trap and dunno how i made it and i cant go back and its great  !!!! its really amazing...i love it!

BUT there are some LITTLE things i dont really like:

at first: the one inch i can see sometimes of my shaft are scratched already after an hour of playing...how will it be in 2 weeks?

and second: my revomaze has a tic (i dont know the english word  " http://dict.leo.org/ende?lp=ende&lang=d ... arch=macke " says tic...) but its not that bad!

so i thank you all, and now i will try to get back to the beginning :D

I have 156 and I know 157 and 158 are solved so who knows. I don't think that there are over 200 silvers out there.
