To do on & off ? Or the sole attention seeker?

Post by jimbo »

With its difficulty in mind (I read a quote earlier along the lines of 'The moon landing was easier')

I am wondering whether this puzzle is to be saved until the last, or whether to dip in and out, let it grow with me & on me... so to speak.

It is going to be a long haul whatever way I cut it, and no doubt long periods of being stuck, resetting, replaying, replanning, not sleeping, feeling enraged, sobbing onto smudged maps etc.......

So the questions to the experienced are:

What would be a better approach?

Dipping in and out & preserving interest in it by having breaks and playing other ones (would this shorten the fun / value in the others)?

or

Save it for the final hurdle and give it sole attention ?

It’s really personal to you I solved this one right after bronze and it’s my biggest challenge with a 300+ hours for the first solving time ... I stop counting way before solving it

It’s not a bad idea to try this one between others as it is more a problem solving than dexterity challenge on this one

You will really have to put your imagination to the test to solve it

Good luck
Hope to see you in the open group someday

I think most save and show restraint

As you can see I'm not one of those....

Going one up from silver myself next!

Go for it :)
