I hadn't heard that a batch was sent out Rabbit; was that posted? I might've missed it ... maybe that is a delivery date. Chris's been radio silent ... so I guess I'll just speculate

this weekly delay thing is getting frustrating and annoying...
especially not announcing the delay until several days after the original date... just send us mail when they ship! :) even if they aren't with tracking numbers!

Agree - would be nice to just have a definitive when they are 'out the door.'

ade had been tracking his puzzle, but posted today that the package was not his RevoSilver. I do sort of agree with you guys, but i see chris' perspective too. He's trying to get these puzzles to us as quickly as possible, thats what we desire right. and he does his best keeping us informed, but her cant always do that because hes busy with getting the revos out and daily life.

I think all of you are doing a great job being patient, just hold in there guys. On your side, I think i'd prefer to have the puzzles sitting in chris' garage waiting to be sent out for 3 or 4 weeks, knowing they are ready to go. thats way better than having to postpone a shipment.

I'd much prefer saying they'll be shipped in 2 weeks, and getting a notice they shipped early, then getting delayed several times in a row...

the timing of the delay announcement is the most frustrating thing...

I agree with not having timely posts about what the status is being frustrating. I have purposely tried to be silent to let Chris do his thing and not get all "Where's my Revomaze, Where's my Revomaze" about it. That, plus it helps me keep sane! :D

However, some communication on the boards or the main site for those with pre-orders would be nice. I'd also welcome a "your puzzle is out the door" email when it has actually been dropped at the Post Office, even if there is no tracking number available, etc...

The wait is agonizing... but the puzzle may be even more so :o

you have to realize that chris is a one man team. he does ALL of it on his own. and think about it, he had a batch of silvers, idk how many is in a batch, but lets just guess a dozen, that were ready to go when he chose to pull them apart and refortify them so that they will stand the test of time. and with an average opening time of 4 hours, that meant chris and his fingers would speand 50 hours opening revomazes. lets just hope he only had a dozen. i wouldnt doubt thats why the date got pushed back.

and yes chris can get help, but that will increase the cost of the puzzles and most likely decrease the quality of the puzzles. There are people like myself, CR80, RevoMate that help where we can, but we dont live in the Pitt house and cant do what it is Chris does.

Also remember this is the first season. We've put out 3 delightfully frustrating puzzles. This is a learning process and i am certain season 2, when chris comes out with the... well whatever he comes out with... it'll be great and the delays will be less, and the challenge will be greater as the revomaze family of puzzleres grows exponetially!

This isn't to bash Chris at all... he does a great job. It is just the repeated build-up, then let-down. If I found out on Monday that the puzzle was delayed until Friday, that wouldn't have been as bad as finding out about it now. And the only notification that it is delayed is the magic shipping date on the main page...

I'll get over my frustration, but only when the puzzle arrives, and the frustration really begins :)

Yeah - I agree, it's just frustrating to have the up/down up/down and not get a reason why. I actually don't mind knowing that he's fixing a this or a that or having an issue, i want the thing to be as perfect as the others - just not knowing sucks ..... :x :x
