Re: Wired Magazine
I've seen the US edition of August Wired magazine and there's no mention of Revomaze in it. I would have liked a hard copy of the R2 article even though we have a picture of it. Oh well...

Re: Wired Magazine
If you're looking for a "hard copy" in the US i would give Ebay a try.
I just found an August 2013 version for $8 shipped...not sure if there will be more listing, but i found many sellers that sell Wired UK mags. You could send a message to these sellers to see if they can get you an August 2013 issue...
If you're just interested in checking out the excerpt on the R2 i would check out getting a digital subscription of just that issue...i did that as well and it was about $5-$6 .
I would offer a copy for those interested, but...those darn copyright laws...

Re: Wired Magazine
After you open your first Revomaze, you know what the core
looks like, however it doesn't diminish the fun of opening the
next one in the series, so imho, I don't think its a big deal.

Re: Wired Magazine
I agree. I saw a glimpse of the prototype but didn't study it and didn't feel too bothered by having come across it on my own via google (I wasn't even intentionally seeking it out). Either way, it's only a slight "spoil" and if anything this situation can simply serve as a great learning experience for future puzzles. After this, I'd be amazed if an inside look at a totally new type of puzzle was shared so openly beforehand (if at all). Even if there is, I likely wouldn't go out of my way to see it.y2khappens wrote:After you open your first Revomaze, you know what the core

Re: Wired Magazine (SPOILER ALERT)
Just noticed there's a completely open shot of a R1 Revomaze in a corner of the article...! Wonder which one it is. Would be even more of a spoiler than the R2 prototype shot if someone haven't solved that maze yet... Still I guess what happened happened and what passed passed.

Re: Wired Magazine (SPOILER ALERT)
Kind of hard to tell which one it is unless you've opened all of them. There are still two R1's which haven't been released yet, the purple and the Voyager R1. That would be pretty perverse if they used one of them. If they did, at least they didn't give anything away about the current mazes.
I did alert Sophie about this when it first came out. She said they were aware of it and not to worry about it. I think the only other core that was photographed and circulated was the Red.
Makes you wonder...this was an article about the R2 after all.
