Bronze Maze... broken?

Post by KeLaBT »

Hi dear Mazers!

This is my situation:

For the first time in 4 years I have again tried to open the Revomaze Bronze. I still remember every single move. Coming out of "the pool", following the curvy path and the dead end that's at the end of that route.

And again I have tried every single option, "drove" the pin into every possible direction and ended up in dead ends.

Now I am wondering:

Is there a chance, that my Maze is broken? How can you check, if your maze is broken or not? Mapping techniques and so on haven't helped me and I have inspected every milimeter of the maze.

I'm just fed up with the maze. Would love to see a map of another user or something like that. Maybe not the boldest way to open it, but I don't care, after...5 years of posession. :P

Greetings,
KelaBT

Probably not broken. You are most likely missing a crucial step.

Sounds like your maze is ok, you just need to get the aha-moment.

Yeah, I know. I heard that 4 years ago. Maybe I'll try it again in 4 years. :)

Have you solved the easier Blue and/or the Green Revomazes? Doing the Bronze without some experience is kinda tough.

Since you have the puzzle and it's serial number you should apply for access to the registered forum. While it doesn't give specific answers, you can read other posts by people working their way through the Bronze. Sometimes that's all you need to get past an obstacle.

Even though a lot of us now think of the Bronze as easy, or "my favorite Revomaze", 99.99% of normal people don't stand a chance of opening it. If you love puzzles and are motivated to solve them, then I think you have a really good chance of solving this one.

Good luck!
Peter

I haven't opemed the bronze, but i can tell you this for sure- YOU NEED TO TRY AND FEEL WHAT'S GOING ON. just go very slowly in the places you want to 'feel' .
I hope this helps! (and also I hope I didn't say too much  )

I have also had mine from day one and haven't opened it yet,
however I have passed the "aha" place a long time ago, just
haven't found what I hope is the last "aha" place. I don't make
maps and I don't search endlessly for clues in the forums. :)

a map would be helpful with this one.. there are some subtle things that are easy to miss without one..
