Nah, don't think so Jamie - Allard broke his maze! (by doing something repeatedly over a period of months. It took him a long time to realise that that wasn't a very narrow ledge he was following - he was hugging a wall and when he came off the end of it he slammed into another wall - repeatedly, in exactly the same spot - thus managing to move that second wall... (Has anyone mentioned I'm not very good at solving puzzles yet?! ;) )

I think I have the record though. I "broke" this puzzle after 10 seconds of use.

Are you ready to have your minds blown? I just created a new record. After accidentally dropping revomaze down 5 flights of stairs and destroying the pins, I sent in for a replacement (the one that came defective). But today I decided that I would mess around with it and see if I could fix it. I laughed at myself over how ridiculous this idea was. But with a metal coat hanger (the PERFECT size), a pair of channel locks, and a file, I was able to rebuild it. It looks ugly, but it works just like it did when I bought it. So I continued the quest. Even though the shaft was out of the puzzle, I made strives not to look at it too closely. Considering the fact that I was already over the "hard parts," nothing I saw really spoiled the puzzle or made it any easier for that matter. I spent a LOT of time on it today and even though I feel as though my hands are about to fall off, I SOLVED IT! Some may argue that this was illegitimate, but I would be inclined to disagree. I count myself among those who have solved this puzzle and tally it up to a successful day.

Dare I even ask what you did to this puzzle?

If you have a damaged sleeve, core or pins, then it would not be considered as solved, however I'm more concerned with the comments about use if coat hangers and such ...

Indeed. I'm curious as to what exactly you did as well. Pictures (so long as they don't show the maze) would be interesting if you have any.
