So are you actually in the main start ring with the same amount of shaft at either end of the sleeve?

You should be able to turn the core counter clockwise (looking head on at the right side) past that stop. There may be a little *burr* in there preventing you from turning. Don't use excessive force, but you should be able to get past it. If not, contact Chris directly. You won't be able to progress past the other stop (turning clockwise).

So, is that jam is a part of the solution, or is it a mechanical flaw? Asking because I have it too...

Not really a flaw as such, some puzzles just need to be 'worn in' a bit more than others.

what was the solution to fix the issue when the puzzle is stuck at the beginning-circle?
