Bronze Jammed

Post by Grey man »

Hey guys. I seem to have jammed my Bronze Revomaze, and I need help to fix it. Is it possible to fix? Any feedback would be very appreciated.

Thanks,
Grey

Hiya!

Odds are that you are in a part of the Bronze lovingly referred to as 'the pool'.

This is a point where it is possible to get trapped leaving you with limited movement, but I assure you that there is a way out.

Draw a map of what you feel as you move and hopefully all should become clear. :)

I was in the pool, but now the central rod physically will not move in any direction.

Try the old faithful trick of putting it in the freezer for 30 mins of so and see if there is any change. There really shouldn't be any way to get the pin stuck in the Bronze :|

I'm also having a problem with my new Bronze, received on Friday. I'm past the swimming pool, and have been exploring the area just beyond, when I clicked into a trap. I reset the puzzle, but now it seems to be stuck in the reset starting position. I can only rotate the shaft about half a turn before hitting a stop at each end, and the "feel" is different - much looser, with a couple of "grindy" bits along the half turn.

This isn't that "Euro" thing, is it? I've been through this forum with fine tooth comb but can't find any clear description of the problem I'm experiencing now. I sent my registration email on Friday but am still awaiting admission to the Bronze owners' area. I hope my puzzle isn't broken!
