I will post the review of Red Lite here written by Lilmike14:

Red Lite

It is incredibly difficult to avoid spoilers in writing this. I've written and re-written this a few times, but here goes.

The Red Lite is a fantastic journey. One filled it hope, despair, joy, frustration and occasionally, a sprinkling of dread.
But once you have it open and see the core, you'll realise the beauty & simplicity of the path you've travelled.

But take heed dear traveller, simple, in this case, does not mean easy!

Early on in the Red you'll meet the "Radiator" (a term coined by Chris, that is really fitting for the area it describes).
Surpassing the Radiator is simple in theory and difficult in execution.
It will teach you patience, but you may experience frustration.
Over the many visits you'll become familiar with the ins and outs of the Radiator.
But, it's not the only danger in the maze.

During your visits to the Radiator, you'll also pick up a sense of caution. You'll use this sense through out the rest of the maze.
You never know where the next trap lies. It could be the next turn, it might be at the end of the next straight. Or, it could be all around you.

There is ample opportunity to fall into traps in the Red, but there is also a lot of paths to explore.
These paths will take you all over the maze, the available space is used remarkably well.

It is possible to solve the Red Lite without a map. It will be incredibly hard though.
I found an accurate map invaluable to my progress.

HQ have this down as a 70/100. I agree with the rating. The nearest difficulty level that I've solved is the classic Titanium at 65/100.

In comparison, I believe the Red Lite is definitely the tougher of the two.

I opened the Red Lite in 6 hours and 14 minutes.
All of this time was spent solving the brass version of the maze.

Some thoughts on the brass.
It is heavy, but it's a comfortable heavy. At no point during the solve did I wish I was using the aluminium.
The click is very audible, and it's a nice, high pitched sound. You can definitely hear when you've fallen into a trap.

There was one minor issue.
Early on in the maze, there's a spot in a trap that acted like a ramp.
There's no visible damage to the core as it didn't require any force, but I shouldn't have been able to get there. Luckily, I didn't discover it until I had been way past that section, in the intended way.

I've mentioned this to Chris, and he said that mine was the 3rd Red Lite off the machine the first 2 are still at HQ. And that since then another process has been added that refines the finish on the core.
The extra process should help prevent this from happening.

There is a brass Red on its way to another reviewer, this is a later version than mine and shouldn't have the issue.

It is also worth mentioning, I've been in and out of this area many times in the aluminium version of the maze and haven't experienced any ramping.

To finish.

I loved the journey of the Red Lite.
The Radiator is a new feature to me, it was very enjoyable, and on minor occasions, a little bit frustrating.
Learning to deal with the Radiator was fantastic, it was definitely a lesson in patience that I'll take forward with future mazes.

If you're looking at getting a maze in the early stages of your advanced Revomaze journey, the Red Lite is a good place to start.

I plan on solving the Red with the aluminium core, but I think I need to give my hands a rest for a day or two first before attempting it again.

I also can't wait to see what Chris & Rachel come up with next.

Solving the last 5 mazes has been a joy. Based off of these mazes, I can imagine that what comes next will be an incredible, but difficult, trio of mazes in the Bronze, Silver & Gold Lites

And finally, I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone else's experience with these mazes!
