Grey Lite review.

Grey is where things started to get more interesting for me.

The step up from Green -> Grey is larger than the step up from Blue -> Green.

The space is used more efficiently, its paths are more densely packed than in the previous 2 lites.
This makes it feel a whole lot bigger, there's more travel, but more risk. There's more dead ends, more drops and more clicks.

There's also the introduction of feature(s)? of mazes from the classic series.
It's still a relatively simple maze, I think it's on par with Aqua from the classic series. HQ have it rated at a difficulty of 30/100 and I think that's spot on.
Still easy enough, and a fairly quick solve, but it's interesting.

It makes you think about where you're going next, memorising the paths and considering options, rather than merrily bumbling along with little worry such as in Blue & Green.

This to me is where the difficulty begins to ramp up, the step up is noticeable, still perfectly doable after solving Blue & Green. And still reasonable as a first solve.

But if it is someone's first introduction to puzzling, or Revomaze in general, I can easily see the beginnings of intrigue and frustration that comes with it, surfacing while working on the Grey.

This one took me over an hour to solve whilst wandering around town. There's a lot of paths to remember in here, it's fantastic to explore and it brings me back to memories of working on the classic Blue for the first time.

It's oddly nostalgic and of the four lites that I've solved so far, Grey is my favourite.

This one I definitely recommend!
