So I'm heading southish on the "last leg" of rainbow lane (you know it well), into regions completely surrounded by traplines (lol) ... figuring there has to be a "bronze moment" happening here somewhere/somehow (as we all know blue and green tactics ain't going to cut it) ... when ... click ... westbound on the runway Chris throws a deer in front of my plane ... This is some kind of nasty.

Maybe "red" is the new "gold"...

I have been over the rainbow over 10 times now. Im starting to think a hammer may release me from my frustration.... Maybe Chris would be kind to us and give us a clue soon....

Its not that I am inpatient but its a **** nightmare to get to the end every time and now i am just not interested in this puzzle anymore....

Think about what you are doing and what you might be doing wrong.

As I said, my niece found the way past the rainbow on her own. She is four years old. Think about how dexterous 4 year olds are.

So if we are in the belief that the rainbow route is completely surrounded by traps and the 4 year old manged to navigate outside the main traps somehow, then maybe it is safe to assume the rainbow is simply a ploy to take us down the wrong path to a solution. If this is the case, some other path must exist or perhaps some other way to start the maze must exist.

Seems odd, however, that Chris would devote so much real estate to an elaborate dead end especially a dead end that requires skill on the order of "silver" to complete.

I'm still at odds with red ... I guess my thinking is still "within the box" ... time to start exploring the unorthodox and what might be possible given the physical constraints of plastic over metal.

Remember that there is a Metal version of the Red Obsession now.
"Our REVOMAZE Extreme Red is based on the plastic version that requires absolute care, taking dexterity skills to the Ultimate limit. The difficulty is between the Bronze and Silver versions and is aimed at the most dedicated puzzle enthusiast."

Yes, right, I forgot about that.

The blues and greens are "based" the same as well - with a few differences.

Personally, I would find the metal red rainbow nearly impossible to navigate compared to the plastic rainbow...especially without the training wheels. I'm glad the red is off the table for the live competion :)

Respectfully disagree on that one, I've found the 'borderless' areas of the metals far easier than the plastic counterparts because of the slight feedback near the edges ... Anyone else?

yep, the metal are easier for me as well. The plastic give you no feedback that you are near the edge until you hear the click.
