BlackV1 Progress and Help

Finally opened!!!
I get the impression from the lack of posts that I am the only one left that was still playing with this. It arrived last Feb with the green, I cracked the Green after almost 6 months and started this in July 11. It is the most frustrating thing I have ever done and has taken over nine months with a couple of breaks for the wrists to recover.
More than once I was tempted to go for it with a sledge hammer!!
I used felt tip pen on the rod to map, and then a permanent pen once I had the marking right. I tried pencil but ended up with a grey rod (not as rude as it seems). Would not advise use a permanent pen too early, it can be close to the shaft and impossible to remove (which leads to repeating the same frustrating mistakes).
I am sure I still don't know where all the traps are but I am certain that I have been in most of them.
Please can I now see the map and cry quietly into my beer.

Time to move onto the Bronze metal ... if you can work the black - the bronze isn't tooo much of a leap...

well okay, I lie...but it shouldn't take months to solve now that you have the knowledge.

Starting today on the Black V1 after completing Blue and Green.
Is anybody else working on it?

Looks like you have both versions of the black obsession. Did you get them recently from Revomaze or did you buy them second hand?

I think your doing the right thing by starting with the V1. I think the V2 is the more difficult of the two. Both are easier than the Bronze in my opinion. Others may feel differently.

In any case enjoy them and post your progress. Experienced members are always watching the forums.
