In my opinion, the argument for drawing a map is rarely to help memorize a maze, but more to help you visualise the relative positions of the different features inside the maze.
Take the advice when it's given

Re: Green Progress and Help
I definitely agree which is why I always draw a map when I can. Silver is giving me a hard time with mapping but the others were pretty easily mappedbluesign2k wrote:In my opinion, the argument for drawing a map is rarely to help memorize a maze, but more to help you visualise the relative positions of the different features inside the maze.

I lost my map, haha.
I think it would come in handy here, should redraw it.

Exactly. Like I said you don't have to draw the map, but remembering the exact measured postion of every feature gets pretty tough pretty fast. Still, for something like the tricky section of the Green you can do it if you are really against drawing.bluesign2k wrote:In my opinion, the argument for drawing a map is rarely to help memorize a maze, but more to help you visualise the relative positions of the different features inside the maze.

Re: Green Progress and Help
I found green a little tough to map at first. Especially the first section of the puzzle. Once i realized what was going on I stopped mapping and ended up finding the right path the first try after i got passed the hard part.

Re: Green Progress and Help
I actually had time to sit down with the puzzle for the FIRST time!
I'm staring at a piece of paper thats inside a hole that isn't quite all the way out.
Here goes nothing, can't wait for the click.
EDIT: quietest. click. EVER.

Re: Green Progress and Help
After completing the Black Obsession yesterday, I picked up my Green today. And it feels different. Like there are places which don't feel like paths and don't have walls.
I've only played for about 10 minutes, but it seems so different from the black.
Is it going to be the same as the black and... just play and map?
