My Blue Pro is open. I'm absolutely certain that what's inside can't be discussed in an open forum. I'm registering my certificate code. I hope there's a Blue Pro open forum available.

Having taken a closer look at it I think some of what I found would be of general interest.

Allard is correct in that the Pro will open only after finishing the maze "n" tines. Having to reset does not reset the counter to zero.

The core is the V2 style with the slightly smaller ends compared to the V1 style. This is a bit harder to grip and can tire the hand but it's the price we pay to be able to remove the core.

It's been mentioned in the past that the Obsession Blue mazes are the same maze as the extremes but have had minor modifications to make them a bit more forgiving, especially for a Revo novice. The Pro is much more like the Extreme version and one has to be more careful navigating the maze.

I think this is possibly the best Blue to date. It's as light as any Obsession, it plays much more like the Extreme, it's more challenging due to it's extended length of play, the core is removable and once it's open you can choose to reset the counter or leave it in single play mode.

Almost forgot, it's also less expensive than the Extemes. Not a bad deal at all.

I am thinking that after Christmas I might get myself a blue Pro. Sounds like a neat concept and it'll add another puzzle to my score..

A little over £10 for shipping to the US. The Pro was a bit over £20 for me. Shipping was not insignificant but nowhere near the cost of an Extreme.

Got mine today, already did it once and I agree it's very close to the Extreme level of precision needed. I've gone through once, it's a bit nerve wracking when you hit that end and get sent back.

Also, it's very odd to not have any dots on the sleeve. I'm so used to using them as the 'guide' to go by that it's a bit jarring to only have to go by feel and less (basically no) visual cues, especially since the shaft is smooth compared to my green obsession.

And yes, the smaller size makes it very tiring and cramping. Still fun, but I'd recommend taking your time with this one with some breaks.

Is there any chance that there will be an extreme/metal version of this some day?
