Ver 2 sticking

I'm probably impaired but I wore out my blue obbsesion ver 1 at work and they were nice enough to send me ver 2. It has slightly smaller shaft ends and is sticking although it works. Would a little sewing machine oil (the finest) be OK or would it gum things up as this is just too tight a fit.

You really shouldn't have to oil an Obsession at all. Odds are the puzzle will loosen itself up after a while. I'd be very hesitant to put anything into it that it didn't come with.
