Im pretty diehard about these puzzles. I would have to say yes. And i'd also say its worth the little extra for the v1 to be a part of the over all Series Code. I... wish i could tell you more about it... but i don't know any more. I know its got something to do with the clear plastic maps that are divided into 5 sections. Each of those are in the blue, green, bronze, silver and gold V1s.

So, to be a part of the ultimate puzzle of this whole Revomaze?!

Yes. Blue Metal V1. If you write Revoguy (Joseph Nixon) fast enough im sure you guys can work something out about changing your order.

If you ever tried the metal version you don't like the plastic anymore.

Both the metal and plastic are different, the each have their own feel and some prefer one to the other.

The metal is heavy! This really shouldn't be underestimated, as the weight adds to the challenge. You'll find it a lot more difficult to work on a metal puzzle for extended periods as the weight is a significant factor. As such it's recommended to play with these puzzles in small dozes.

The pin feels different on the maze, and it is a slightly different challenge to get used to that feeling.

If you want to try a metal, rather than getting another blue maze, consider getting the Bronze.

They definitely each have their own feel. I prefer the metal but that's just me.

From what I understand, you can't bring the metal one on a plane either for carry-on luggage...not sure about the plastic one tho'...has anyone tried it yet?

Yeh, I think Nigel did and I'm pretty sure he said he had as much trouble as others have had trying to take Extremes on planes. Don't do it, it's not worth the hassle.
