Mint won’t reset

Was going thru the turns and near the bottom I fell into a trap. Now it won’t reset, it slides up and down and turns but won’t go all the way back in! Has anyone had this issue?
I have a feeling that the pin sheared.

Well after 20 mins, it finally went back in. Kinda scared to go back in.. so I put that down and decide to try the bronze! Right into the pool I’m guessing. Wonder how long I will be in here. Not many moves so I’m hoping to find the way out

I think my mint puzzle might be damaged. I don't think I can describe it well without any spoilers. Maybe I can email someone and they can tell me if it's damaged.
Can someone help me or tell me if the puzzle is in fact damaged? I can email specific locations or a picture of my map.
