Thanks for the help. I've been playing around and can already see how easy it is to get turned around, but how it will be difficult to work out mapping. I don't have the best ruler so I'll need something better. When being pushed or pulled will it always be in millimeter increments? I'm trying to figure out how many spaces I need per millimeter. At this point I have no idea how to determine turn distance. I'm not tech savvy so Excell won't work, and I like being able to actually draw the map by hand.

Some of us crazys just go by memory and/or crude sketches...

But find what works for you. Everyone tackles problems differently!

Personally I would just enjoy the feel of the Aqua, just play it through using memory, Blue is also nice for this. I think you will know when things need mapping, it will just happen.

I will say that blue, green, and black were able to be completed just by memory. I was able to bronze without mapping anything. Mint required mapping at about the 90% mark to get through. I think there is a limit to what can be done from memory.

Over halfway with copper right now on memory. Not the most complex but one of the longest due to pin size right?

Drew a crude from memory map to show progress to someone, but all memory this far for my progress.

I don't think I can do all or even most like this, but I am sure I know someone who could (remembers everything he sees...)

To each their own?

I did solve Copper in 7 hours, without a map at all.
Just stick at it and you will solve it. I’m sure!
A fantastic maze!

Thanks everyone. I probably will work on mapping, but mainly because that's part of what attracted me to the puzzles, as I'm a hands on learner, but maybe I'll have to make them detailed after I figure them out.

Well I am well beyond 7 hours Haha

Still fun though. And that's what matters :)

There is a reason for the big mapping thread, it is a popular method and helpful!
