I made a trip to the USA today and picked up my gunmetal. Since my wife wanted to go shopping, I had some quality bench time to start fiddling about. I'll just say that this reminds me of a few other puzzles that are tough to reset. Further exploration to follow...

Also, Marbles did a terrible job packing the Revomaze for shipping. They used a way-too-big box for shipping, with not enough packing material. I opened the box to verify they sent the right revomaze, and found the puzzle, foam inserts and card rolling loose in the shipping box. For something expensive like a revomaze, you'd think a better effort would be made to ensure it travels safely.

At least the puzzle works fine. End of rant.

Hi Guys,

I can confirm that Marbles have placed another, larger order for more Gunmetals. A small number will be sent with more Blues mid-September and a larger number mid-October. So those who missed out initially will have a much better chance of securing a Gunmetal in the next few months. Both Chris and I have been pleasantly surprised by the reaction to Gunmetal and it bodes well for our new Copper which we will be releasing in the run up to Christmas.

Thank you for your constant and unwavering support!

Wow, that’s the opposite of mine which I felt was over-packaged. Mine also came in a overly large box, large enough to hold at least a dozen RevoMazes in their boxes. But within this overly large box were over a dozen air pillows and a smaller box which was large enough to hold 6 or so packaged RevoMazes. Within this box were a few more air pillows and finally the RevoMaze box which was wrapped multiple layers of bubble wrap (the larger 1 inch bubbles). I should have taken pictures of it as I was opening it because of the absurdity of it all but I was too excited to get it to bother at the time.

This is a huge contrast to many twisty puzzles which I receive from China and Hong Kong which are just sent in envelops with little or no padding.

Edit: this paragraph never existed. Honest.

And yes, it is comparable to another R1 puzzle.
