Mercury!

Post by ReVoMaster »

Hi All

There are the 20 Mercury's out there and I have learned a lot of valuable information from the initial feedback.

Firstly, the spring is light and has now been changed. Please try to not wall hug, but find your way around correctly.

From what we have learned (I have put a post in the Open Group explaining this) I have been able to change the puzzle for the rest of you making it the challenge as I planned.

First point is that Mercury is not the First - Easiest. We are not doing that. The challenge will grow and more solving will be needed on the later puzzles. Mercury is a progressive puzzle based on the planet as will be Venus (and all the rest).

We are trying to put the best we have learned from R1 in there to make these a successful series that will be in the future in high demand.

So now we are getting the puzzles out there - we can start to make in more volume using what we have learned from this initial batch.

One point to note: Everyone in this batch will be eventually happy with the puzzle.

Any questions - please get in touch with myself or Sophie.

Kind regards

Chris

Can someone in the open group please inform me as to what this post says?

I have opened my Mercury but dont wish to join the open group, as I would rather wait till I have open the Mercury in the intended way ;)

Oh ok, no worrys. Have you heard about any kind of time frame as to how long we will have to wait till the shafts and o rings get replaced? I cant use mine until these parts are replaced. Im not liking my Mercury sitting on my shelf gathering dust while it screams solve me!

Might as well ask so everyone can see:

Chris, based on feedback from Batch 1 and some changes needing to be made as you mentioned do you have an ETA on when Batch 2 may be sent out or are you still going to be gathering more info from the Batch 1 recipients before getting ready to launch Batch 2?

Batch 2 should really wait until there is feedback about the new spring and draw.

I agree. No point sending out any other batches till the 1st batch is corrected and everyone agrees that they function better with the new adjustments

If he sends out the remaining puzzles and there are issues it would be a huge loss. With 20 of us he can fine tune them and get all the kinks worked out. Once he has feedback from the 20 of us he can go through it and fix all the issues.
