Mercury Release

Post by mattangel »

Today was the anticipated release date for the first batch (Non-UK) of Mercury puzzles. Has anyone received an update from HQ stating that their puzzle has shipped?

For those that did not receive the e-mail, I've copied it below.
Sophie - Jan 29, 2014 Re: Mercury & Purples

Just a quick note - We are on track to have the first batch of 20 Mercury puzzles shipped to the ‘continental’ owners Monday (3rd) and the UK orders to follow Thursday next week (to make it as even as possible).

The Purple sleeves will not be released from the anodizers until Friday of this week. Chris will be picking the sleeves up so unfortunately we are losing a lot of working time Friday for him to travel there and back. The plan therefore is for us both to work the weekend to make up for the lost time and to ensure all except the UK orders are sent Monday.

Once the UK puzzles have shipped the Purples will have Chris’s full attention and will follow once finalized- we can provide some photos after we have the sleeves back if anyone is interested, do not hesitate to contact me.

The Purples will be sent in our new boxes and the Mercury puzzles will be sent in a velvet pouch in a cardboard box (in a padded envelope). The pouches are to protect the puzzles until the boxes are sent with Ceres. For the first 20 puzzles the voyager coins will not be included (this is because they are still in production by an outside company) however they will follow once the Voyager can prove he has opened his puzzle by submitting a photo to us. If anyone wishes then we can provide a photo of the coin in between time.

I have confirmation of everyone’s addresses but if anyone wishes to check this or has any further questions please do not hesitate to do so.

Kindest Regards,
Chyron

There was no notice that my international puzzle shipped today. Given that the post offices are now shut, I'm assuming that it was not shipped.

Whooosh ... the sound of another deadline flying past with no update.
