You are buying the right to buy the series 7 days early, be part of a competition, and spend a thousand pounds over who knows how many years. And a chance to win the first puzzle. But not an actual puzzle or product at this time. Just paying to hop to the front of the line. Yah, I am not paying $89.30 for that, sorry Chris.

As I understand this, it is almost the same as the Collector Set:
  • - Receive the R2 Cosmic Collectors Cases.
    - Entitles you to collect all 10 puzzles at a set price.
    - Ceres SE - ONLY AVAILABLE TO VOYAGERS OR IN COLLECTOR SET
    - Pluto SE - ONLY AVAILABLE TO VOYAGERS OR IN COLLECTOR SET
OPEN: AQUA - TURQUOISE - BLUE - GREEN - BRONZE - SILVER - GOLD - INDIGO - TITANIUM - RED - ORANGE - LIME - GUNMETAL - PURPLE - COPPER - MINT - HANDMADE - MERCURY - BLACK - BLACK MERC - SALMON - GREY - SAPPHIRE - EMERALD - RUBY - PEACH

Yes I view it as a new way to sell the collectors set. You're paying for the case and a guarantee of all puzzles (possibly matching serial numbers) but will be charged 100 pounds whenever a new puzzle comes out, rather than all up front and then having to wait.

100 Pounds whenever a new puzzle comes out AND you order it. Potentially up to a week in advance.

At least that's how it sounded to me.

Yeah what Chyron said. You can buy them at your leisure. There's no set time frame for purchasing but you get the option to buy all 10 seven days earlier than they are released for the general public and of course at the £100 price.

Dunno about serial numbers tho ...... Joe??

Despite all the comments to the contrary, I'd suggest this is far more like the Revo V1 early adopters offer. You got the puzzles at a set price, and were effectively supporting Chris in his endeavor.

It's not a CE set as per the V1 where it was only shipped once all other puzzles were opened, and it's not a pre-payment for all puzzles.
