It just showed up. Usually when Sophie is around, there is a tracking number HQ sends me, but she is on vacation, so well......

Yes, the maze core is brass...I don't think any of the Purples are plated...tho' I could be wrong about this...

So to all the PU owners, how do you think you would have faired with this puzzle attempting to open it under competition rules (circa 2010) ??
Under pressure could you open it in say under 2 hrs?
- just curious / envious etc etc

I believe this purple version wouldn't have made it to the competition finals.
If you have to solve this demon under pressure and observation of a refugee it will take more than 8 hours......
In the competition mapping was not planned to happen as far as i know.

you were allowed a pencil and blank paper... that wouldn't have been any help to me. I would have needed several colors and a couple pieces of [censored].
