it's not my company, but I can assure you with much confidence, that more props will not be made. However if you want one, I'm sure some will be made available through private resale. Just know these were available online for 6000 GBP.

It is hard to tell for sure due to the smaller size of the picture and the lighting but it looks like these may be gold plated already. The cores look brighter and shinier than the unplated brass ones.

My understanding is that the library collection prototype is the same one that was "for sale" for £6,000 which is also the prize for a sub 60 sec blue pro opening time.

I can't recall there ever being more than 15 purples. Who's getting # 16 and why?

Maybe Chris got one purple for himself, as he got Set#13.

He could have made extra bodies because the amazing process can be imperfect or a body can get damaged. A billion reasons and possibilities...

A backup is fine, but any extras should be destroyed after the 15 have shipped. It would be a shame to see this one up for auction...
