One 15 number holder eliminated. 9 lucky lads remain :)

Interestingly, there are only 2 15 number holders still in the running:

9 numbers: 1
10 numbers: 3
13 numbers: 2
14 numbers: 1
15 numbers: 2

Wow, that means at least one person will get a purple with less than 15 numbers!

In the meantime, I've looked at what's the fewest numbers needed in the the last 12 sets of lotto number to stay alive.

Since only one number has been seen 5 times, we need at least two other numbers to cover all 12 rounds. There are no combinations of 2 other numbers that cover all the rounds so far. There are many 4 number combos that cover all 12 rounds. The numbers that do this with the least duplication are currently 15, 18, 40, and 47.

Not necessarily true, it's possible that a future draw will knock it down to just two winners, and therefore the 4th round will be for two instead of one, which would bring some 15's back. But who knows!

Lotto numbers for the
13th round of the 3rd Purple Lottery

1 - 5 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 35 - 42

Another set of numbers heavily skewed to the low numbers.

That's the 3rd time in 5 draws for the 1,5 combo and twice for the 1,5,11 and 1,5,42 triples.

Is this going to turn into another marathon for the last 9 where they all have similar numbers...

I hope the next draw is something like :

2,24,26,30,39,41,47

That would cut it down to 4 or less people remaining :)

I feel lucky still being in it. Plus it would be nice for one of us in the US to win..... I think I'd take it to vegas, and maybe send him on a few road trips to visit a few friends 8-)
