I did not post after last Wednesday's lottery as I was really tied up with work stuff and completely forgot.

But I'm still in....

Jerry, how 'bout checking off the 30th round in the poll so we have at least one person using it. Or wait till later, after the next lotto drawing today.

Umm... You guys do realize you don't have to vote to see the results. Just press the "view results" whenever you want to check the results. No voting needed.

At this point I see only one valid entry, the one for the 31st round.

If you already voted to see the results, just select round 39 since you can't cancel your vote. That should reduce the confusion about the poll.

I think it's more an apathetic response than a desire to see the votes. I think the polls were silly to begin with since they're unverifiable. But the threads themselves do well with cataloging the history of the event between milestones.

Only one person will have / has the real numbers, our Forum mod bluesign2k. I highly doubt it'l be available to run numbers on or review. Nor do I expect that because someone new is managing the competition results any of the rules would be modified for the subsequent rounds.

Assuming we just had a bad run of 'random' (9x 11 vs 0x 29) with the draws these past 3+ months, with the set of people at or above 14 will decrease, and the likelihood of it going as long as this one will drop a bit. (Less people need to be eliminated to win) Maybe it will only take 2 and a half months next time?

Nothing wrong with a purple owners or registered section. It would be nice if the registered section was open to the other members to read but not post, much like the way the Handmade forum was handled.

Even though 5 purples have been awarded it was my understanding that no one will receive one earlier than anyone else. While Joseph was still here he was adamant that no additional info would be provided until all purples are allocated. There are at least 3 more lotteries so it might be a year before that happens.
