Luckily, I'd think the follow-on rounds will go faster! (i hope!)

Well, isn't this interesting, Joe is allowing us to choose new numbers. Feels a little like Monty Hall's "Let's Make a Deal".

Anyone feel like switching?

I don’t expect them to be too much faster.

If they are using all 7 numbers (has this been confirmed?) then everyone with 13 or more numbers has a greater than 90% chance of surviving each round. It will probably take months to reduce this group down to 3 or less. The following round will only be faster due to the elimination of the winners but there will still be enough people in this group with very high chance of surviving to keep it going for a long time.

My prediction is that it will take months to finish the first round, and more than a year before all 10 puzzles are awarded.

No, it will be over much sooner than that.

There are only a handful of 13+ people (left) ... and even with that many tickets, getting to round 6 is 50/50 at best. Remember that while you might hit any one draw 90% of the time consecutive hits keeps you alive so with each passing draw the "strength" of the remaining pool of contenders to continually beat the odds is diminishing.

The 11 reported to be going to round 4 will be down to 3 by round 6. As I don't know how many non-reporters there at this stage (5 max ?), an extra round or 2 may be necessary.

Was the part where if you didn't supply numbers you were entered automatically ever clarified? The way I see it, you still might have users who didn't email Joseph with numbers or to enter, who bought a revomaze in the past, entered and still alive in the competition, who may have never been a part of the forums.

Im not switching.

Yea i was thinking more interms of the pool of people is reduced. Either way. As impatient as we are as customers... they always deliver a good product. (and hopefully they actually get everything done soon! CEsets)
