Im abit unsure as to how this all works. I have picked 4 numbers. Lets say my numbers are 1,2,3 & 4. How do I get into the next round? It cant be if all numbers come through, as the people with more would have a lower chance of getting all their numbers come in on the draw.
Now if you only need 1 number to go through, there are gonna be a very large number of people going through on each round surely? Anyone know exactly how this is meant to work?

My best guess was if one number is drawn and it happens to be on your collection of numbers... you advance to the next round. And the rounds continue till there are only 3 people left standing.

Everyone who didn't win gets re-entered in the start of the next 3 being lotto-ed off.

Is what it sounds like! Feel free to correct me anyone and everyone!

The ROW winner has not received a single message (let alone a purple Revomaze) from either Chris or Joseph after the general winners announcement 2 weeks ago. Also my questions sent to Chris that day remain unanswered.
I can only guess what is happening, and my guess is that Revo HQ is still very busy with whatever they are doing for over a year already.

About the system:

"Matching ANY of your numbers then moves you forward into additional draws until winners are found (see rule 7). If no contestant matches a number only those currently remaining in the draw will rollover into the next."

May take some time to determine the winners but i think that is what chris wants to happen

As the date for the first PU draw is approaching I was looking at the numbers. So working the hypergeometric math, what are ones odds to make it through the first draw and onwards??

Based on getting at least 1 number (from up to 15 tickets) from the 6 drawn against 49 balls:

Tickets > Odds on draw #1 > Odds on #1, then #2 > Odds for getting 3 successive hits

15 > 30.6% > 9.4% > 2.9%

13 > 26.5% > 7.0% > 1.9%

11 > 22.4% > 5.0% > 1.1%

9 > 18.4% > 3.4% > 0.6%

7 > 14.3% > 2.0% > 0.3%

So I believe if you have 13 tickets you have about a 1:50 chance of making it to the 3rd draw - and it would be likely that only a few people (hopefully just 2) would be with you (I don't really know that but I'm assuming 100 people in on the lottery each with 10 tickets on average).

ps... hopefully someone out there in Revoland is a real statistician and can referee my numbers

Brutal! Any idea how many rounds it might take before we get to only 3 people left?

Looking at your signature shouldn't you have six instead of four tickets? Tickets were counted every puzzle one own, not every puzzle one opened as previously discussed.
