Matched one. I've yet to see more than two of my numbers match in a drawing.

Now that round 14 is over, the fewest numbers needed to get to round 15 is now five. This is bad news for anyone with only four numbers.

Number 48 is now the only number to have occurred five times. Four of today's numbers have been seen only once or twice.

The probability of surviving 15 rounds with 15 numbers is slightly better than one in three ( 0.365 ). Good luck to anyone still in the running.

48 remains the number everyone wishes they had picked with 6 occurrences. 11 is almost as good with 5 occurrences. Having both covers only 7 rounds since they often occur together.

There was a suggestion that picking 15 consecutive numbers would be just as good as picking random ones. I still can't disprove that, but not every consecutive string of numbers would get you to the 16th round. Any string of 15 numbers starting with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 27 gets you to the next round.

Good luck with round 16!

Correction: I found a combination of only 4 numbers that covers all 15 rounds with no duplication. This would have been true last time also. So someone with just the right 4 numbers gets to play another day.
