I have both and i can say that the rating in the site is reasonable. The big difference between them is the mechanism. In both you need to fully understand what you are doing, and both are bastards :D if you are a collector, buy both. Personally, i like the silver a bit more than the lime. If you like crazy appearing/dissapearing things- go for the silver. If you like even more crazier appearing/ disappearing things, the lime is for you
Also in the silver more dexterity is required.

Some silver mazes have one big problem:
Even if you know what goes on there is at least one part inside that can not really be controlled.

Yep. There was someone in the forum who solved the silver in 1.5 hours. But this is veeery hard to do. He got a very smooth revomaze and he sure was smart  Im stuck in the first part( and the easiest) for 19 hours now(didnt even get to the canyon via the real way). So consider it as a killer . :ugeek:

Out of the two I'd go for Silver over Lime. More tricks in Silver to "enjoy" ;)

As lovely as Lime is, ultimately it's a bit of a one trick pony unfortunately :(

I only found the end part of the silver difficult and needed a little push to get there. Ive yet to play with the Lime, but hear it is a little harder

For me, I cannot control the canyon (Silver) and it is is now boring to try new ideas due to that you have to start from the beginning all the time...it was a really fun puzzle until I found the canyon :)

Lime was really fun all the way and you can map, think and try different ideas without cramps in hands :)

I recommend Lime before Silver.

What i like in the lime, is , that you can pick it , do something irregular and suddenly your expression will be: :o :o and you will think that your puzzle is f***ed up. But it wont . Its a very surprising maze, and you have to explore, explore, explore, until you find something crazy and ask yourself "what did just happen here? I thought that there were a dead end". And then you cant move, and blah blah blah
