Depends on what it is really.. a whole new puzzle? A re-release of Green as a non-series puzzle.. lots of unanswered questions.

Love the colour though, and the fruit.

I have mixed thoughts and feelings on this. On one side I'm excited about the notion of another new puzzle. But on the other side I have long ago pre-paid for 3 puzzles which have been delayed and postponed to the point of being ridicules. Sure I pre-paid for the Gold along with the rest of the main series when it was first starting but the original plan was to have the series completed 2 years ago. Then I pre-paid for the handmade which was supposed to be ready in a couple of months, last year. And I also pre-paid for the Orange which was supposed to be ready shortly after the Gold, last year.

It just doesn’t seem right to even hint about a new puzzle when long standing commitments on other puzzles have yet to be fulfilled.

Any why Lime instead of the originally planned and canceled Yellow?

i'm on board with you here Stet, but remember Chris is an inventor, ideas sometimes just happen. Maybe he shouldnt have let that cat out of the bag. either way i think we have nicole and plenty of other red namers and purple namers to keep Chris off the lime and on the gold.

i wondered this as well. i think maybe the yellow as an anodize doesnt look good or cant be done consistantly. i figure everytime they try they get lime, so the yellow is the yellow, its just been appropriately renamed.

I dont know, only time will tell.

If it is a replacement for Yellow that would mean they are all spoken for already right? Which was one of my concerns that it wouldn't be touchable to some of us sort of like the handmade or black.

Nope, apparently a difficulty somewhere between the bronze and silver is the plan.

Three reason I guess. Firstly, because the Yellow was originally going to be a joint effort between the old engineers and Chris to produce what they thought would be the hardest revomaze. Secondly, the silver is pretty hard as it is and not many people mange to open it... so having an even harder puzzle seems a bit silly. Thirdly, the Yellow was going to be a limited edition but it would appear the having designs that are limited cause friction when not everyone can get hold of one, as we've seen with the Black, Handmade, Titanium (and red to some extent).

I'm not going to get into a debate about whether the lime should have been announced. Personally, I'd prefer to see the already delayed puzzles out, but I guess at least he's still coming up with new ideas while he's waiting for the engineers.
