To update this thread as of almost September 2019, Yuu appears to be so successful that he is too busy to answer e-mail's. Busy enough to periodically release all five of his puzzles to Puzzle Master. For instance, all are in stock there at the time of this posting.
Yes, more expensive than direct, but PM has to stay in business too...

He isn't actually supplying those to PM - they are making them themselves for a limited time. Been happy with the ones I've received.

Well now *that* is interesting! Thanks for the additional info. Nice to get them from Yuu directly, but it seems he is quite busy even without making these. Perhaps inventing more diabolical puzzles!

As info PuzzleMasters is working on possibly doing Yuu's puzzles for their next Kickstarter campaign. The goal being that they can raise enough funds to get them produced in China vs Canada and bring down the price.

Puzzle 29 is seriously too easy, like the concept, but it is easy. Solved it together with my girlfriend during breakfast, took us a maximum of 10 minutes, not kidding.
It is a fun puzzle though, that must be said, but the price is too high.

I'd say you likely got a bit lucky finding the right pieces early on. 10 min is an extremely fast solve for that puzzle. That said...try Ice 9. Guarentee it'll take more than 10 min. I had a similar experience with Wave 7...solving it in 4 min. Got lucky. Overall I'd say his puzzles are excellent value though and are not priced too high.

Agree about Ice 9! I've had it sitting there to poke at for a few minutes at a time these last few weeks, and I am no closer to any significant insights...
