What happened to puzzleparadise.ca?

Post by astr0creep »

Hi, does anyone on here know what happened to Puzzle Paradise? At first I thought the site was just down but its been quite a few days now. Be a shame to lose it, there was often really nice stuff for sale there!

I suspect John has closed it in a similar manner to renegades. I'd be (happily) surprised if it returns.

I was also wondering if this would follow shortly after Renegade. It is a real shame if it is gone for good.

Where does everyone go to talk about puzzles now? Is he looking for someone to run it or pay the hosting cost?

On a second note, does anyone have Phil Tomlinson contact information. I was waiting on his auctions on puzzleparadise...

As far as I can tell no community replaced Renegades. People have rather fallen apart at this point and several of the designers that were there and feeding off each other ot keep making puzzles have decided to go on hiatus. I could be totally wrong, but that was the last update I received.

For what it is worth, I apologize if I did something to cause this. I was informed at one point that John was upset with me and somehow this all stemmed from that, but I've never managed to verify the veracity of it because he will no longer speak with me and deleted my accounts across all of his sites at that time.

By the way, does anyone know what ever happened with Rolly? After I "left" I never heard from him again, and was wondering how things were with him and if he was up to the same awesome creations as always.

Sorry to hear that Maztec. The issue with the Renegades and Puzzleparadise is quite something then... At first I thought it's just a technical error. :? Would someone care to explain in detail just what happened? So John took down the websites on purpose? If so what's made him do so? (Maybe send a PM to me.)
