If I remember correctly Hungab on the TwistyPuzzles Forum made and sold them for around $90.

That's a shame if he's no longer making them. :(

I know there are a couple of twisty nutters on here that might be able to help track one down for you or point you in the right direction.

I got turned off from the TwistyPuzzles forum when I tried to make an account they wanted me to explain my favorite post on the board and why.

I can see they want active community members, but as an introverted, opinionated, private, puzzle fan, I didn't want another community to participate in, I just wanted to try and buy a puzzle. That was the only place I ever saw the real "Ghost" puzzle produced well and my neuroses prevented me from actually getting an account to get one =(

It is only a matter of time before these popped up on this forum.

Originally there was one maker of these, but it was hard to track him down.

Others have tried to make duplicates and some produce better results. You should be looking at 80-100 USD for a 3x3 because they are not mass produced by machines.

In regards to tracking one down, if you can find someone who already has one, and you ask with a serious request, they may connect you with the original producer.

The original designer of it is not that hard to get a hold of. Here is his shapeways store page:

http://www.shapeways.com/shops/puzzleworkshop

He is currently only selling a [very expensive] limited metal version of the puzzle. He has stated that he plans to sell more of the standard 3D printed plastic ones sometime in the future.

I bought one of his original cast ones a few years ago for $100 or so.

You could consider making your own. He has been very supportive of people who want to do so. However, he has asked that no one else make them to sell to others.

I'm fairly certain that the original was not a shape ways print. Rather, a hand mk

The original run of them were hand cast with plastic resin (I have one). As far as I know he is not intending to do any more like that now that he has it on Shapeways.
