Can anyone help me ID this puzzle? I bought it about 3 years ago from Puzzle Master, but now I can't find any trace of it anywhere on the Internet. The letters around the centre read NICHTDURCHDREHEN but I don't know where in the series of letters the phrase actually begins. I'll leave that to my German friends.
It may be JC Constantin who made it. It's an N-ary puzzle that was quite difficult compared to others that I own.

Hi!
The puzzle is called STEUERRAD and is in fact from JCC. Here is a link to a good Review:

Anyone here familiar with the Washington Monument puzzle? Furthermore, anyone here interested in giving me a nudge in the right direction? :)

You mean the puzzle crafted by Brian Young, right?

It's not a good puzzle in my mind. Sometimes Brian makes nice and clever puzzles, sometimes not at all.
If you want hints, just scroll down on the solution, usually in his solutions you have hints and hints and solution step by steps (usually, the explanations are also pretty confusing!...).

The solution is actually pretty clever, and works on a very interesting physics principle. Unfortunately it seems that quite a few people manage to open it by accident at least the first time, myself included.
