I would say that it is possible to solve without fully understanding the clues. I ended up solving it while just playing around with it.

Did you release the BB yet?

I would love to see the inner workings. I was pretty impressed by the actual size of the puzzle, considering the total volume of it initially.

I deciphered the clues many many months ago, but only a few make any sense. :(
This is exactly the same for me; I can't really figure out how to interpret most of the clues. Just pulled this out again as it's been shelved for awhile. Love the puzzle, just wish I could make any notable progress. Every time I play with it, it eventually turns into aimless spinning as I can't come up with new ideas for the clues. I really want to see inside this thing. Maybe I'll manage to crack it before my Revos arrive!

Also, first post. Finally had the means to order some Revomazes; been waiting ages!

Same here. I play with it for a few days, then with absolutely no progress, I put it back on the shelf.
The other puzzle that's kick'n my butt is the GM revo. :(

I'm going to start with aqua as my first since it's rated easy. Hopefully that'll get me all prepared to open blue! If you want to bounce some fire ideas off of eachother let me know. Maybe we can email about our thoughts on the clues and trigger some new ideas?

I put mine on the shelf and haven't touched it since. Been thinking of selling it. The clues havent helped and even with guidance I still dont have it open.

Don't give up on the puzzle. It is a really good puzzle, and start to "map" all places where the puzzle will jam. If the puzzle never jam at all, then you probably have not done the first move, but you will find how to do that move in the clues.

This is also a puzzle that is really fun to play with again when it is solved, and it is a puzzle you can open in ~10 seconds when you understand it so it is really fun and a great puzzle!
