There's a picture of the Pi-ano on the puzzlemaster website. I would assume one of the pictures is of the puzzle in its initial configuration. It don't look like any keyboard I've ever seen. Perhaps there's a connection with the number Pi, 3.14159..., the name uses that Greek letter and some of the pieces look like that letter, but perhaps there's some connection with how the keyboard is arraigned too? Just guessing.
