Within only about three hours of starting many stickman boxes have exceeded the $300 range already!
There are puzzlers with lots of money on their hands...

Will, most of the Stickman boxes, when originally offered, had a sticker price over $300... so this isn't at all surprising.

In fact Will, the last time a few of these boxes were listed, the start price for each of them was $500
It's only getting started

I would not be shocked if everything went for more than $1,000 at the end of the day. Really depends on how rich everyone is feeling at the moment. I am just sad to see that this auction even has to occur.

Talking about this auction occurring, I wonder why Robert is selling off his personal collection of Stickman boxes?
Now to second Stewart Coffin there's another great puzzle artist who lacks an complete collection himself.

Probably needs cash more than old puzzles?

It's worth mentioning that Mr. Stickman has no intention on retiring from the world of puzzles.
I'd wager that many of the things he has in the pipeline at the moment would make our heads spin.

Sadly Stickman's only source of income is his puzzle boxes, and there are a number of projects which he has been involved with which are taking much longer to see profit than he had hoped. Sadly regardless of these things the bills still have to be paid.
As such Stickman made the difficult decision to sell the last remaining copies of his puzzles. I hope the auctions do very well, and would expect prices between $1200 and $2500 per box. As Smiteo already pointed out most of these started with an original sale price well over $300, and given the limited numbers ever produced, I'd expect them to have gone up in value significantly over the years. Recent auctions have seen prices in the range I noted above, so expect these to be high price auctions.
Good luck to everyone bidding, and I hope the auctions make a lot of money for Stickman!

So why are they priced so low now? Does everyone wait until the last day and try to "auction snipe". I would hope not. I am currently winning a few and if I lost due to people not bidding appropriately I would be disappointed.

What do you mean 'bidding appropriately'? If you're that desperate to win something then you will be there at the end of the auction to place your highest possible bid.
