There's this "Anti-Snipe" feature implemented so that if you try to bid in the last minute, or even in the last few days, the end time extends by hours. Fair race here. :D

Why would we do that?

This does say that all auctions run for seven days...This one does not.
It also says, as advertised, it will finish at 6pm.

This is why I said -if it follows usual cubic rules...
We will have to see.

I e-mailed Eric about it, and he confirmed that this auction is anti-snipe, just like all his others...

Nice one Derek

It should make it intresting to watch which puzzles hang on in the later bidding.

Not me... Yet. I'm waiting 'til the last moment-not that I'm sniping (can't anyway), just watching where the bids went and make my best bid.

By the way, which one do you think is rarer? Milestone or Grandfather Clock?

If you go by numbers, grandfather clock was a run of 28, milestone was a run of 30.

Ok so now things are getting more like where we would expect to see these puzzles.

Prices are achieving more like what we would expect. Good luck to Robert!

...still a couple of relative bargains to be had... but much more like we were expecting for the majority of them.
