If you are just starting off, IMHO, in the following order of priority:-
1. Houdini's Torture Cell
2. Fuji 1707
3. Plugged Well
4. Danlock
5. First Box

I see a theme here ... Not only sequential discovery, but also a really novel mechanism to be discovered each time! O I am so much looking forward to Brians next puzzle...

That's normally the sign of a good puzzle! Plus there's that great sense of accomplishment once you finally work it out, which is always better if you've struggled a bit with the puzzle first.

true, but there is also a point were where the frustration becomes anger and despair
