Best sequential discovery puzzle?

Post by Rdroege »

Ive always been intrigued by the sequential discovery puzzles, but am unsure as to where to start. So I figured asking you all what some of your favorites are would be a good idea. My first choice after looking at some would be the Opening Bat but that is no longer available. Any input would be appreciated!

You definitely need to get yourself a copy of Houdini's Torture Cell also by Mr.Puzzle.

I'd say the Sandfield Salt and Pepper Shakers is my favourite sequential discovery puzzle. It has a number of different mechanisms and a neat surprise at the end too :-D

Well I just ordered the plugged well from Brian Young, as well as one of Junichi's limited burrs in order to make the international postage worthwhile. To bad the rest of the ones you guys named aren't available anymore! Thanks for the input.

I may be wrong but I reckon Wil still has some copies of Houdini's Torture Cell available.

Torture cell is utter genius and IMHO a little better than the Oil Well :D

First box is expensive and pretty easy :(

The only other one I can think of is the Dan Lock, now Kevin blew my mind with that :D
(I really MUST get one of those   )

Look at the comments here... Don't give your hopes up on the Houdini yet. ;)
