Puzzle Trade

Post by ReVoRabbit »

I've spent most of my life wanting a Japanese puzzle box. so with my 30th birthday coming up i decided to get a 27 step box that fits nicely in two hands (I think its a 6 or 7 sun). not huge, but nice. it took me 4 minutes and 57 seconds to solve it. i am entirely unimpressed, saddened, let down, etc, etc...

maybe someone out there would like to do a puzzle trade. I value the box at about $125 and it does come with instructions and all original packaging. i'd also entertain selling the box as its only been opened twice and is still in mint condition.

Every time i upload a picture i get logged off the forum, so instead i am including a link to my Google+ account: https://plus.google.com/photos/11742403 ... 3405297809

Yeah most of them are more of a pretty work of art than a puzzle. They're more repetitive than anything else but still nice to have in a collection. You should just keep it next to the others you don't play with anymore. :D

More reason to keep it in your collection. Mine is easy too but I keep it around because it's different and pretty.

Next time buy a Makishi box (if you can find one). They are cheaper and pose a serious challenge. No fancy wood mosaic pattern on the outside though.

Or a Karakuri box, as they are easier to find.
