Mr Puzzle - Australia

Post by Barcared »

Just thought I'd start this thread so we can discuss the wonderful puzzles made by Brian Young at Mr Puzzle Australia. I now have 16 of their puzzles and each one of them is a gem! I can't recommend highly enough the quality and the challenge of some of them. Sue Young is always really quick to respond to e-mails and the shipping is quick and well packaged.

I received 3 great puzzles today:

Opening bat (#40 of 50)
SEARious Burr
The Collective (in Jarrah wood)

This adds to my existing puzzles of:

Make room
Pandoras Box
Saturn Ring
Condor's Peeper
Coming of Age Mk II
Mega 6 Burr
Mount Fuji
Houdini's Torture Cell
Tricky Dick
Boston Tea Chest
Burrliner Kruse
P & L Packing Puzzle
Decemburr

A lot of these have been reviewed in various puzzle blogs, especially in Allard's excellent Puzzling Times blog.

Anyway off to find the next part of my cricket bat to open! :D

Hey Nigel, I also have the collective and at first I didn't know if I was that keen but I really do like it. I didn't order Jarrah but it arrived in Jarrah and I'm pleased it did. It's a very nice wood and far better than the photos. One more I would recommend is Comming of age...... Love it!

I honestly think that no collection should be without a copy of Houdini's Torture Cell.
